We welcome feedback from readers. ExitChina.org covers visas, residence, work and daily life in 31 countries, and the rules change often. A message from a reader is frequently the first sign that something needs updating. If you have found an outdated figure, or your own experience at a local office did not match what our guide says, please tell us.
For now we only communicate by email, at info@exitchina.org. This is the site’s only official contact address. Anyone who claims to represent ExitChina.org but contacts you from another address, a personal social media account or by phone and asks for payment has nothing to do with us. Please be careful.
What you can write to us about
Corrections and rule changes
Please include the page URL, the passage that is wrong, and a link to an official source, such as an announcement from the destination country’s immigration authority, a notice from the Chinese embassy or consulate, or an alert on the Chinese consular service website. We read tips without sources too, but they take longer to verify.
Story ideas and reader experiences
Which country or topic should we cover next? Your experience of applying for a visa, renting, opening a bank account or seeing a doctor abroad also helps us find gaps in our guides. We will not publish your name or your message unless you clearly agree.
Partnerships and advertising
Please include your company name, country of registration, licences held and the type of partnership you have in mind. We only work with lawfully operating businesses. Gambling partnerships are limited to licensed operators and are only shown to adult readers where gambling is legal. Partnerships never affect our editorial content; see About Us.
Press and republishing
For interviews or to quote our data, tell us the outlet, the topic and your deadline. If you want to republish an article, write to us first; with our permission, credit ExitChina.org and link to the original.

Response time
Our goal is to answer every genuine email within five working days. Corrections that require checking a rule may take longer, because we need to find and read the official text. When we confirm an error, we fix it promptly and update the page’s verification date, as described in our Editorial Policy and Sources. We do not answer bulk advertising or obvious scam emails.
What we cannot help with
We are not a law firm, a migration agency or a licensed immigration adviser. We cannot give legal, immigration, tax or investment advice on your personal situation, file visa applications, book embassy appointments or “speed up” a decision. Be very careful with anyone who claims “inside channels” or a “guaranteed visa” and asks for money up front.
For your own case, contact the destination country’s official immigration authority, its embassy or consulates in China, or a licensed local lawyer or registered immigration adviser. In an emergency abroad, contact the Chinese embassy or consulate, or call the Chinese Foreign Ministry’s global consular protection and service hotline on +86-10-12308 or +86-10-65612308 (24 hours). Note that the 12308 hotline never calls citizens on its own initiative and never asks for money transfers; if a caller claiming to be “12308” asks you to pay, hang up. For the limits of our content, see our Disclaimer.
